Album Help Please. . .

I haven't picked out the pictures for my album yet.

I started going through all the pics, but its a little overwhelming.

I have one album that I can pick 36 pics and I have a coffe table ablum that I can pick 70 pics. . .

Can someone give me some advice on their wedding album breakdown?

(ex: 5 bride alone, 10 church, 10 bride groom alone. . .???)

Any help will be truly appreciated. I would like to have this done before my 1 year anniversary.

Thanks!
Anna

We haven't picked our photo's either.

Can't wait to hear what and how people did their albums also.

This is what we did:

From the start of the day when the bride was getting ready, we chose one alone of the bride, one with brides parents, and one with the bridal party.

From the Church, we chose all the impt moments, walking down the aisle, exhange of rings, unity candle lighting, first kiss, etc.

From the wedding party shots, one of DH alone, one with bride w/guys, one with groom w/girls, 4 of the entire wedding party in diff poses/areas (we had church photos and golf course photos), than 2-3 of bride and groom alone

From the reception, we chose the entrance picture, 1st dance, toast photo w/MOH & BM, cutting the cake, bride w/father, groom w/mother, and then various candid photos from dancing.

Here is my album to get an idea:My album

I just went through each 'stage' of the day and picked my favorites and narrowed down from there.

I did this too...and at first it was very overwhelming...I had 200 and some odd photos when i had to have 70!!! but if u get to the point where u feel 'I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE OUT!', put them away, and go back to it a few days later. This is what worked best for me - and i'm so impressed that i did it! lol. You have to remind yourself that you're still going to have your proofs...so you're not losing any of the photos. I'm also working on a kodak scrapbook of my own with all the photos i originally wanted good luck! i totally feel ur pain!
