alcohol at shower?

alcohol at shower?

Did you have alcohol at your shower? I was considering not doing this, but would this come across as cheap? Would people even notice? The shower is scheduled for noon...let me know what you think?

mine was lunch -- it was a surprise shower, but there were bottles of wine on the table. Just a choice of red or white. I thought that was nice.

We had the same thing, a mimosa punch and then sodas, juice, coffee and tea because it was brunch. Nobody complained, and everyone who had the punch said it was delicious! I hate mimosas, and I loved this one!

my cousin made a special punch for mine...everyone loved it! i would have something like a punch or mimosas....etc

the last shower i went to was a brunch and there was no alcohol whatsoever and i found it very strange...i guess i was just expecting something at least

My friends and I love wine...I had a wine wishing well so obv we served wine ...for me it would have been obvious I think it depends on your crowd..do they like to have a cple drinks? If so Id say do something..even its a punch

MIne was a brunch and we had screwdrivers, mimosas and a punch. I also went to a shower in which there was no alcohol and I thought it was strange. I would go with a punch at least.

My first one was the same, it wasn't a brunch, it was lunch, but it was an alcoholic punch and then other stuff. My second shower was at a restaurant and there was wine, soda and water. It was an Italian restaurant

mine was a brunch/lunch...water/soda/coffee/tea etc...and a choice of mimosa, bloody mary, or belini

then there was a caraf of juice on the table with the appetizers and carafs of wine with the entree at the table

there was a bar at the place so i think people could order whatever they wanted other than that and it just went on the tab but i dont know if anyone did that

My shower was on a Saturday night at my mother's house so we had wine, alcohol, champagne and a frozen drink machine with margaritas and strawberry daquiris. My BMs are partiers though

Mine was a Sunday afternoon. We had wine on the table, and if anyone wanted drinks we had a running tab. Let me tell you- it is never too early to drink!
