I was all set to order DW, too. But I went home and literally obsessed over that gold color. I think because I have been around the block, I wanted something more unique.

The DW will look gorgeous on you, don't sweat it.

thanks! I thought about ordering it in gold and my mom (the one with the credit card) said that she thinks I should order it in white. I was ok with it because I love the dress in both colors. I do love the gold though!

the maggie has the crystals throughout the dress but you can't really see it on the model. I feel like I have to defend maggie, lol. Yes, we are on a first name basis

I think it is bridal nature to second guess your dress. I love my dress but I second guess the color I chose, I feel we are all doomed to, at one point or another, second guess our dress choice.

Jess, I think the top one looks nicer anyhow. . .not to mention, having a replica of your dress made by another designer will not make it look any less GORGEOUS on you.

Thank you. Actually now that you said that, maybe it's almost like a compliment that another designer liked the dress so much, he replicated it, or she. I can't be sure anymore which designer is a man and which is a woman, they're misleading and androgynous

Haha, good point, I think you can def take it as a compliment It is a beautiful dress, all these gorgeous dresses make me second guess mine too (i have to keep reminding myself that I loved mine! - although I'm regretting getting mine in white instead of DW)

Also, I doubt the average guest at your wedding will be trying to figure out 'if she's wearing a Maggie or Alfred Angelo'
