It means we have to call all our non-house vendors like yesterday to make sure they're still good. This is totally an effort to put you over a barrel to use the house. I LOVE kickbacks!!!

Can you imagine them barring entry to our florists and photogs? I just can't even any more. There's just no words.

I just whipped out my contract...it does say 1 million in the list at the bottom, so I'm assuming that they will have to honor it, and this is for new bookings going forward. I'm going to be going there next weekend to drop off my payment, so I'll make sure to find out for certain! I mean, they can't just change house rules and then say too bad if it's a contracted point, right???

I dont think they can change it if its in the contract. Also can you ask them when they need this by?

When they need the certificates by? I believe it's 2 months prior, but I'll verify it again with them.

Hi,
I am also getting married at Villa. If I remember correctly from my business law class(don't quote me on this I was asleep for most of it:)--once a contract is signed neither party can change it, unless both parties agree. I don't think it matters if you already booked anyone or not. You signed a contract for 1 mil and they need to honor that.

i'm sure once the contract is signed there is nothing they can do about it.. That is probably for future Villa Brides

They should be honoring the 1 million but to be honest with you most vendors hold LARGE insurance policies and even if they want the 2 it shouldn't be an issue at all.
