Re: aliciahelene...
Chippatrid told me about Jack and Rose florists..I called the guy and spoek with him for about 45 minutes..not even about flowers..what a nice guy! Unfortunately I cant get into LI to meet him until August, unless I can get in there on a monday within the next few weeks..but Im almost postive I will go with him. He is too nice!! The florist people who own my hall have a hard time returning calls..I had also made an appt. and it wasnt in the book when I called back. I have heard they are good though, but Im pretty sure I will use Jack and Rose. How are all of your plans coming hearz bellz?

Re: aliciahelene...
I AM USING JACK & ROSE!!!!
you will absolutely love him..... he has 2 locations, one in Woodbury (where I am going) and one in Richmond Hills (or is it Forest Hills) I can't remember.
He is really super-talented & knows so much about flowers & plants & stuff!
You will totally dig his work! He also did jennbaby's wedding & her flowers came out gorgeous!
other than that.... I AM DONE. I just have to 'assemble' stuff for the day of my wedding & that's it! FILs are hosting my RD, so I am not getting involved in that.

Re: aliciahelene...
my last stress is my dress....I am still nervous about it coming in on time.... but other than that, I am done.
I got some 'inside' help, so it took me a lot less time to organize & such.
I am glad to hear that you got alot of your 'biggies' out of the way! That's pretty impressive, especially since you are not planning from LI.

Re: aliciahelene...
it is 'supposed' to come in by Rosh Hashana (sp?)..... and I have 3 days off from school, so that is the best time for me to do a fitting. I am a bit nervous cutting it so close, though.

Re: aliciahelene...
I AM DOING BOTH
I must be crazy, but I feel it's what I am supposed to do with my life
FH is being really supportive about it too. I think he thinks that he gets to retire early if I get a better career

Re: aliciahelene...
Baruch is there in case I don't get aid.........
Luckily I went to state school for my associates, and am on a 75% scholarship for St. John's so I am hoping to get some aid plus loans for my graduate.
Baruch is ranked tier one for Public Grad schools in the country, so it's not a bad thing.... but I always wanted to go Ivy League!
PS. Thank you ... I am excited. A little freaked out... the LSAT is the first week in October, but I think I can handle it!
