I just saw this..what a nice thread to wake up to!!!! Thanks!!! You guys are so nice!!! It really was just a minor surgery..but Thankyou so much for your concern!!! My husbands comapny was able to keep us on our old insurance for one more month so that we can get all of this paid for. My concern is my Doc found cells in my canal??? I didnt even know I have a canal and is testing them to see if they are cancerous, her concern is that a pap exam doesnt look at thos eand neither does a colposcope, so theres no telling hw long those cells have been in my body. She as explaining this to me as I was really groggy..so I am not sure what shes talking about. I should call her and ask..but part of me doesnt want to know..has anyone heard of this??? I'd call the Dr for her to explain...It took about 10-14 days for my leep results( the pathology they do on the tuissue) to come back...your may be faster but why drive yourself crazy waiting...a nurse may even be able to look at your chart and explain it to you better....or ( I cant believe Im saying this) Try a web search? I have never heard of a 'canal' either? I know there is a cervical canal..but didnt think cells could malform there...good luck..Im sure you will be fine in the end!
