ALL BRIDAL UNDERGARMENTS = CHECK!

I went to Victoria's Secret at lunch and got the bra below for my fitting on Sunday, and of course for my wedding day. I tried to try on the longline they sell but I couldn't get it on without help! It was sooo tight - I tried to do the hooks and then flip it around so that the hooks were in the back, but I couldn't BUDGE the thing. So I figured if I can't get it on, it's not for me

I now have everything I need for my attire on my wedding day:

- Bra
- Blue boyshorts (I *hate* the word 'panties' - anyone with me on that? Sounds dirty.)
- Garter
- Shoes
- Headpiece
- Veil
- And the dress of course!

My mom even has this awesome silver sparkly clutch that I am going to use.

SO EXCITED that I am done with my attire!

That is great, a lot to have checked off that list!!! It's creeping up! oh and i am with you panties is a naughty word

thanks girls! it's a huge weight lifted off my shoulders - i had very limited time this week to get the bra and i am so happy it's done, now I can relax tomorrow during my lunch hour.

All you really need is a bra for the fitting. Go to Vicky's! Macys had NADA, I was thoroughly pissed with them since I have like a million coupons and they were having a terrific sale. Well they had stuff, but not many longlines at all, and even fewer in white, and nothing they did have was in my size.

Congrats that is such an amazing feeling. Good suggestion to go to VS. I have my fitting tomorrow and I am going looking for a bra/corset this afternoon. Did you try on any corsets? I know you didn't like the long line bra. The one you bought looks great.

Are you wearing panythose/spanx or do you have open toe shoes?

And you have your borrowed with your mom's sparkly clutch!

I didn't see any bridal-ware except the two bras I tried on - the long line and the strapless. They had corsets I guess, but more sexy lingerie, not for a wedding day .. (maybe wedding NIGHT ... )

Is that what you mean?

I'm not wearing pantyhose, no. I haven't worn it in like a year (i have a job now in which I can wear jeans every day) so I am done with hose unless I absolutely need to. My shoes are sandals anyhow!

Congrats to you on getting all of those things in one week! It's taken me months!

I don't know if it's new - but it's good! I jumped up and down in the dressing room to make sure it stayed put (I probably looked like an idiot, but with all the dancing I am planning on doing, I need to make sure) and it didn't move!

That's the same bra I bought and I just went for my first fitting on Tues. I like it a lot! The best strapless I've found so far.

It's one of the bras in the 'very sexy' line ... strapless 5way .. ? I can't check the website now because when I am logged on to my company's system, they block me because it's an 'adult' site. whatever ... but jen, if you go and look at their very sexy line, you should be able to find the picture i posted. it's got these gel inserts (you can take them out) but I have to tell you, with them, I did indeed feel 'very sexy.'
