Thanks to info from btrfly girl I called Audery's Bakery and confirmed that they do have the choclate fountain for rent, and they are $3 a person just for the choclate fountain not the fruit and other supplies to dip.

WOW. it's SO NICE, though. I wonder if they give you a nice price if you also buy your cake from them

Was it Thomas you spoke to? He IS a doll to work with...I cannot begin to tell you how accomodating he was while we picked our cake from what was included in our package!!!

Re: All Girls who wanted the choclate fountain
I'm very curious about the chocolate fountain! One question though, if you don't have the Viennese hour, is it ok to set up a table with the chocolate fountain in the reception room? I don't know if my hall will allow this, but I LOVE the idea of this chocolate fountain!!! =)
ETA: Can someone FM me the phone number of Audrey's Bakery? Thanks a lot!

Audreys # is 631 244-7366 it in West Sayville
I am also getting the chocolate fountain. And I think you can totally have it even w/o the Viennse table. Just bring it out w/ the cake. You may want two though so theres not a line.

Do you think my catering hall will let me bring this in? Sometimes I think that they are funny about thing like this.

Re: All Girls who wanted the choclate fountain
I know my hall is supplying the fruit and such but that the fountain was fine as long as the place has the normal insurance policies that they require from all vendors and that they supplied the other items besides the chocolate.

Re: All Girls who wanted the choclate fountain
Fh wanted one but as soon as we found out $3 per person we thought it was a little much to be paying for chocolate. If you really figure it out for my wedding of about 150 people I am going to spend $450 for chocolate plus I am going to have to tip the guy b/c he is going to stand there for an hour with the fountain. We rather spend the $ on something else. JMO

Re: All Girls who wanted the choclate fountain
I myself am a chocolaholic. I was contemplating having a chocolate wedding cake, but if I get the fountain, I can have a traditional cake and my chocolate. We are also contemplating a viennese hour but that is 7pp. To many decisions!

Re: All Girls who wanted the choclate fountain
I just posted that because someone asked and it was the first picture I found, but I have seen them in action and the color may be a little off but the look is still the same.
I opted to do this instead of the viennese, because I am having a mini-viennese and putting pastries and such on the tables but then also having this.

Re: All Girls who wanted the choclate fountain
Maybe you could do the fountain and cake and a cordual bar instead of a full vienees table. Just a suggestion.
