Re: All inclusive

I sent you an FM, about the Lifestyle Hacienda Resort in Puerto Plata, DR.

It's really a great place for a honeymoon because the villas are stunning, the private pool and the breakfast prepared daily for you in the villa is so romantic. It's on an all inclusive resort, so you can also use all the resort facilities, the gorgeous VIP areas etc.

A week 's stay at the villa is $1100.00 (3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms etc etc) and the additional rate for the all inclusive plan is $37.50 per person per day). So not only is this great for honeymoons, it's also great for bachelor or bachelorette parties...since it can sleep so many people (at least 6 people).

Anyway, feel free to FM me for more info.

Re: All inclusive

Just booked my honeymoon in Aruba at the Rui. All inclusive and just over 3,000 for eight nights including airfare. The place was the old grand and they just renovated and it just had its grand opening on Friday. It is 5 star and all rooms are suites and 90% have ocean view or ocean front.

I would recommend looking into it. Good luck

I went to liberty travel and booked it through them. They were very helpful. I think it was $1700 pp all inclusive including air for eight nights.

I just booked my honeymoon too - sandals st. lucia and Occidental in Aruba
I know, pricing depends on the type of room you go with. But all looked doable at 3000 or under p/location.

Ive been looking in the Sandals resorts (not sure which one yet) or Paradisus in Punta Cana. FFIL is from the DR so I know FH wants to go there (or PR where his mom is from). The only draw back to Paradisus is that is a family resort so there may be kids around. If FH doesnt mind this we will probably book there.

Re: All inclusive

I have been to many of the Sandals resorts. My favorite being Sandals Grande in St. Lucia. Another positive about the St. Lucia Sandals, is the three Sandals in St. Lucia are all very close to each other....so you can have a change of scenery if you were staying for awhile.

I have also been to Paradisus in Punta Cana., which was great. The food surpassed any of the Sandals I have been to. It seems as if Sandals uses a lot of processed products and ships them out to their various resorts ? I am not sure, but I have never been a fan of Sandals cuisine. I went with a large group, and the swim bar was very popular, since the pool was so large there.

However, my favorite has been the villas at the Lifestyle Hacienda Resort in Puerto Plata, DR, since they are so elegant and spacious. I love having my own private pool and breakfast made daily in the villa. The food at the VIP gourmet restaurant is top notch. They put a lot of effort into all the VIP areas. Plus it's so much less expensive....
