Re: All inclusive girls
We plan on bringing around 2,000 for excursions, souveniers, and dinners outside of the hotel

Re: All inclusive girls
We spent about $600.00 on credit card. Probably about $200 cash. Bring small bills!!!!! Lots of tips come up, which I wasn't prepared for.

Re: All inclusive girls
Can I ask a dumb question?
How 'private' are the private outdoor areas like pools and showers?

Re: All inclusive girls
we brought 900 and spent 400-500 but that also included 2 cabs from airport transportation here in ny which prob accounted for like 80 of it
we didnt do any excursions though so i would say definately bring more if you plan to do that.
the rest of our money was tips (even though they say they are included, we always gave a few bucks to a good bartender, a few bucks at each meal depending on dinner or breakfast, etc.
then we spent money on souveniers for ourselves- we prob spent like 100 on that stuff considering we like to bring back art, etc. rather than less expensive trinkets and stuff. then we got a few things for our parents and the friends who watched our cats...lol
we also spurlurged a little and got a few massages and spa stuff
its easy to figure out the excursion prices if you you dont book them before hand...you can still get plenty of info online for good estimates.
i think less than a 1000 is fine or even much less depending on what you plan on doing/spa, etc.
i once went to an all inclusive and only spent 100 with no excursions

Re: All inclusive girls
we jus got back from EPM and we barely spent any money. we went on 1 excursion and the rest of the $ was only to give a lil extra tip to a certain bartender
We brought 1000 cash and spent almost the whole thing, we bought lots of souveneirs and went out to eat off the resort a few times. Also they didn't serve heineken so DH had to walk down the beach and buy beer so he could have 'his beer'

Re: All inclusive girls
we stayed at the grande, and it was a 500 security deposit on a credit card, so make sure you have that. you also dont really spend money on sueveneres or the pictures, b/c its added to the room and you choose to pay for it w/ cash or on the credit card when you were done.
they dont let you tip, so you dont have to worry about that. but if you are going to do outside excursions or even the ones from sandals they cost $.
DH and I probally spent like 800-1000 bucks after all was said and done. we bought alot of the honeymoon pictures and that was the most expensive thing!

Re: All inclusive girls
i think we brought like $700-$800 in cash. the fishing excursion was the most like $500 the others were about $50. rest of it was used for tip, gifts and massage.
try and bring lots of small bills

definitely bring small bills for tips whatever money you will need for souvenirs & excursions transportation money as well
we brought about $1,000 with us to Mexico & our debit card as back up [but the $1k was good enough... needed the debit card when we got to Vegas]

Re: All inclusive girls
went to sandals antigua and we had to pay a debarkation tax that was only accepted in cash - so make sure you have some cash leftover at the end of your trip to make it home!
