All inclusive in the caribbean

So I am looking into all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean.

Has anyone been to any nice one that they can recommend? Preferably one with a private/semi-private pool area.

what do you been my private pool? like one with your own pool for your room?

we went to occidental grand in aruba and it was amazing... we compared our hm hotel (riu in the bahamas) to it when we went and it was nothing compared to it! i'm looking into more occidental hotels for our anniversary trip

We went to Excellence Punta Cana and if you get the Club Excellence package you get access to a private pool and a private beach area. It's awesome

About Mexico--that was actually our original plan and I have to say that there are some amazing places that have what you are looking for....This place blew our socks off when we were doing our reseearch (but we opted for Costa Rica instead...not because of the safety issue just because we wanted to go somewhere new for us):

Good luck with the planning.

We went to Mexico on July 6th and stayed for 7 nights. We went to the Riviera Maya Iberostar Grand Paraiso. EVERYTHING was included and adults only which i absolutely loved. Most people were there on their honeymoon so everyone is young, the staff is amazing and cater to your every need. There is a swim up bar at one of the large pools where they have music and entertainment and games and then theres another huge serenity pool if you want more quiet and another indoor pool (since you were interested in the whole pool thing:) It was amazing food, alcohol and just relaxation. I would go again in a heartbeat. Look up reviews on Trip advisor and you will see why everyone loves it. If you have any other questions, let me know because it took me so much time to research and find a place, i can understand how tough it is to find the 'perfect' spot to go.
