All-inclusive or no?

All-inclusive or no?

Hi ladies,

FH and I are considering Bermuda, Bahamas and St. Lucia as some of our honeymoon options. Normally, we wouldn't choose an all- inclusive option b/c we like to explore the different restaurants the islands have to offer, and we don't want to feel obligated to eat at our resort all the time (and we would if we do all-inclusive). Has anyone ever been to these islands? Do they have a ton of restaurant options, or would it benefit us to do all-inclusive anyway? I know when we go to Aruba, we eat at every great restaurant they have, and would NEVER do all-inclusive :)

Help, please! :)

We're the same way. We like to explore and from experience, st lucia and bermuda have really excellent restaurants. it would be a shame to go all inclusive at these places. can't really speak for bahamas bc ive only been to atlantis and stops on cruises but from what i saw nassau didn't have much to offer, but i can't verify that....hth!

i have no idea but im glad you said that you dont do all inclusive in Aruba - because that is where we are going - but we are staying in FH's aunts timeshare so we figured we'd just go to all the restaurants - i heard Aruba has great food

Paula Dean did a St. Lucia special and it seems that there is wonderful local cuisine. There are also some amazing non AI resorts and hotels there. Bermuda only has one AI resort and it isn't on a beach. I think there are prolly lots of place in the towns. Bhahamas Im prolly goes either way!

It's funny you said that, the 2 times we went to Aruba we used my grandmother's timeshare! Which timeshare are you guys staying at? U can save alot of money if you eat breakast in your room, since you'll have a full kitchen. FM me if you want advice on restaurants and stuff - no joke, going to dinner every night was the highlight for us b/c the food there is to DIE for!!!
