Re: All-Inclusive Resort Recommendations!
We are going to Breezes in October in the Bahamas. The airfare is now on sale and it's down to less than $300 RT pp. I haven't been there before but FMIL said it was beautiful and the food there was above average. I was also at an Allegro resort in Cancun, and I loved it there. Food was good, teh place was immaculate and the service was outstanding.

Re: All-Inclusive Resort Recommendations!
We went to Sandals in St Lucia. We went to the Golf & Spa (Regency). All I can say is amazing, We did not want for anything. The food was amazing!!! We had so much fun. There are 3 Sandals on the island so if you get bored with yours, you take the Sandals bus over and visit one of the other 2!!

The Allegro (Occidental) in Aruba has a nice all inclusive but on Aruba you are better off not getting one, too many good restaurants to go to!

Re: All-Inclusive Resort Recommendations!
I went to a few. Are you interested in Mexico at all? I just went to the Aventura Spa Palace in the Mayan Riviera area in May and it was great! I had also looked into the Iberostars there and in Cozumel as well...they both can well recommended to me. I have stayed at a couple Iberostars in Dominican Republic as well (the one in Punta Cana - Iberostar Bavaro was my favorite there) and like that chain. The Royal Hideway in Playa Del Carmen is suppose to be wonderful as well but it is a little more money than the ones I mentioned.
A co-worker stayed at the Allegro in Aruba and if you want all-inclusive and bang for the buck in Aruba - he said it is worth it.

Re: All-Inclusive Resort Recommendations!
We're going to one in Riviera Maya, Mexico for our HM in Dec.
I stayed at the Caribean Village (an allegro resort) when I went to Cancun. I loved love loved it. They had a BBQ on the beach everyday, the guys came up to you with drinks and fruit while you sat by the pool, swim up bar, a cute little show at 3 and everyone is so nice. The room was great. We had a HUGE kingsize bed. I never saw a bed so big before. The hotel was so nice. It had everything you could ever need.

Re: All-Inclusive Resort Recommendations!
We have been to Breezes and Sandals in Bahamas and Sandals in Antigua. We went to Breezes years back when we were first dating and enjoyed it very much. We went to Sandals Anituga and had major problems with restuarants being closed, no bartenders at the bar (the guests had to serve people) roach infested rooms, etc. They gave us a comp trip to Bahamas and it was a lot nicer.
In my own opinion, I am not one for all inclusives. Me and my husband dine out frequently and are into fine restaurants and the type of food that is served and all inclusives is below average. This is just my opinion.

Re: All-Inclusive Resort Recommendations!
We went to Sandals Royal Bahamian on our honeymoon, and it didn't meet my expectations. The food was not that great and the rooms were clean but needed major updating.
I was on my honeymoon and expected much more.
(I will admit that I'm a tiny bit spoiled when it comes to vacations, so you may not want to take my opinion as gospel )

I went to the Royal Hideway in Mexico for my honeymoon and it was FANTASTIC! The best all-inclusive resort that I have ever been to by far! It is rated as one of the world's best resorts. Delicious gourmet food, beautiful grounds, fantastic service and most importatnly...NO KIDS! I would highly reccommend it..it is worth every penny!

Re: All-Inclusive Resort Recommendations!
We stayed at Breezes in the Bahamas (very nice, food was good, great activities, nice rooms, although when we were there in March the water was pretty choppy--very windy); Royal Solara in Cancun (room was great overlooking ocean, however we were hounded IN the hotel with time share people anytime we went into the lobby....annoying...but the food was good, had some water sports included, pretty far down on the strip though); Sandals Montego Bay (we got our room upgraded--for asking upon check-in, food was good, great activities, 95% of people on their honeymoons--negatives...it is very close to the airport & you hear planes landing/departing & it is LOUD). My bro, SIL just got back from the Adventura Spa Palace outside of Cancun & said it beat Sandals (St. Lucia), Dominican REpublic (I forget which all inclusive) & Breezes.
