ALL INCLUSIVE WEDDINGS
anyone have any ideas about all inclusive wedding good choice or no? we are on a budget
anyone have any ideas about all inclusive wedding good choice or no? we are on a budget
We looked into it because our budget is very small. We picked a venue that had either option, but after crunching the numbers, we found it cheaper to not do the package. it really just depends on how picky you are about certain things and add ons that you may need. Like our venues all inclusive had a limo service we didn't need, and we could only use it daytime, not to shuttle people from the hotel. so we were paying for that and didn't need it, and then needed extra time for the dj and couldn't negotiate a reasonable price with the places offered. it's entirely possible to do no inclusive and stay on budget.
Sometimes all inclusive weddings are great... Sometimes there's a catch: amount of people, they limit the amount to about 100 and there's a minimum lets say the smallest package is $10k some people can do a lot more with $10k for a wedding if they plan it on their own.
We didn't do an all-inclusive, but I know someone who was looking into it. When all was said and done, she would have paid more than we did choosing our own vendors. Do your research before you book anything and look at different options.
deff negotiate!!
double post sorry!
I think it all depends on what u like and want. We liked Jericho terrace but just for the reception it would cost the same as my all included package. Places that were a better price we didn't like or weren't impressed with what the menu.options were. I.also was in no mood to negotiate. It disgusted me that I was given a quote somewhere say $80/pp for a Fri night in February or March and then another bride in here would post Thier quote fur the same place same time frame same day fit $10 less per person.
THANK YOU LADIES ALL GOOD IDEAS, I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGES . ANYONE EVER BEEN TO THE MEADOW CLUB IN PORT JEFF?
I just booked at the Brentwood Country Club. They were recently taken over by Lessings. Tio, the BM, is AMAZING! We are having a blast planning things with him. The place is very simple and pretty and the package deal is right where we wanted to be budget wise :) Check them out!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
THANK YOU FOR THE INFO, WHEN ARE THE BRIDAL SHOWCASES?
We saw a few package deals out there, but we prefer to pick our own vendors. That way we can customize our wedding and feel confidant that we have the best vendors for us.
i would do your research- some brides LOVE it because it takes stress away from planning (especially if you are getting married in under a year) or have a busy schedule. Many brides LOVE the all inclusive. I heard great things about East Wind, Sterling, and lessings does all inclusives at some places. I know Brentwood Country Club is supposed to be BEAUTIFUL and has an all inclusive. That being said, it may not be right for everyone. I wanted EVERYTHING and anything for my wedding. We have a band, added A LOT to our reception, needed shuttles for the hotel, didn't need a florist and a whole slew of other different things. We did look and consider it but for us, it wasn't right. Also, like other brides said, just be mindful of numbers because it may or may not always work out to be cost effective! good luck planning!
THANK YOU MUCH LADIES, ITS SO HARD FOR ME TO PLAN I WORK 2 JOBS AND THAT INCLUDES WEEKENDS AS WELL SO THATS WHY I THINK THE ALL INCLUSIVE WORKS FOR ME. ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW OF ANY BRIDAL SHOWS COMING UP?
