i wanna try and plan a vacation this summer for fh and i around our soon to be wedding date. sort of a 'pre anniversary'. i dont want to spend a fortune on it, just sort of an inexpensive getaway. any suggestions? preferably all inclusive. right now we got a quote for $720/pp for punta cana after taxes and everything and i wanted to see if we could find anything cheaper. wed like to go to either the caribbean or mexico. any suggestions??

Re: all inclusives?
last year we did a short getaway (5 days) to Cancun and stayed at Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa.... an AMAZING, beautiful, romantic, and fun all inclusive property in the heart of cancun. this year we're going back to Cancun staying at the Riu Palace - another all inclusive.. we normally do cruises. Travel Tom (Tom Varghese) planned this getaway for me and did an AMAZING job. he even got us an upgraded room by telling them we're coming for our anniversary (which we're not). you can email him at [email protected]. He's very patient, works within the contraints of your budget, and he doesn't pressure you at all!

Re: all inclusives?
I heard a lot of girls rave about them on the other boards for their honeymoons.
