All Inclusives. Are they really cheaper?

All Inclusives. Are they really cheaper?

I have Med Manor booked for my 5/24/09 wedding. I can either go with the all inclusive package or pay per person. Is it really cheaper to do the package?

Depends....on what they are giving you. Check out the prices for the same thing in the vendors you'd like to hire, then add that to your per person price (how many people are you inviting>?) then compare it to what they give you.
Also keep in mind for all inclusive you dont get to choose your vendor

i agree with the PP--it just depends on what you get for that all inclusive package....as well as the quality of the vendors they use. to each their own---but sometimes i find that going the AI route with a hall sometimes means you lose out on choice & quality -- because you HAVE to use their vendors. can you shop around at all and see if its a good deal? thats what i would do. if you are on a tight budget--go the AI route--but if you can be flexible i'd perhaps look elsewhere for vendors.

We're on a budget.. I wouldn't say TIGHT, but we were really impressed with the way they would work with us. We are inviting 250 people all of which are going to attend. He upped the minimum to 125 people and kept the same price, and is discounting the teens plates because they don't drink, and kids will be paying less than half price per plate. Their vendors are great from what I've heard. All I'd really have to worry about is the invitations..
