All July 07 girls (invitations)

Have you all ordered your invitations yet? My mom is freaking me out that I haven't ordered them yet!!

I didn't order mine either. The invitation list isn't nearly complete - FMIL has decided she now wants to add 'at least' 20 people!! I'm going to wait a bit more and then order.

OK, I feel better now..I think someone's been in my mom's ear about it, and she was starting to make me worry!! I have to get together with my dad and finalize my list as well, so you have a good point, I wont even be able to order until I do that anyway!! Thanks!!

Inviatations come in quick, I ordered mine and they were in within a week or two

i will be ordering ine within the next week!!
I wouldnt put invitations on the back burner but i wouldnt freak out just yet either.

You should be looking to order this month- some invites take longer than others...

I was so worried I would run out of time so I ordered mine early to be sure.....it only took 2 weeks. So I had more than enough time. I'm sending them out next week.

Yeah, invites are definitely my next project....she was just making me extremely nervous, as moms do!! I plan to order in the next 2-3 weeks...thanks girls!! Good luck to all of you as well!!!

I ordered mine the first week of january. But I had the week off and wanted to get as many things done as possible that week. Mine were really simple so only too a week/week and a half to come in. My vendor warned me that some of the more complicated ones tahe 6-8 weeks. Which at this point would still leave you time to send them out.

We are finalizing the invite design. Hopefully design will be complete this weekend and we will order supplies by next week (we are making our own)

Also good point to remember..some places get booked really fast, for instance I wanted smashingcards.com to do my invites and I contacted them in December they were available to accommodate me, I thought about it and when i recontacted them 1 month later they are booked solid..also something to think about.

We ordered ours last Tuesday night, and received them via UPS on Friday afternoon! We didn't order anything 'custom,' so I suppose it was an easy order to fill. I figure we'll mail them out the first week of May, so we have plenty of time to spare.

One of my coworkers whose daughter is getting married in late July said that the calligrapher who is doing theirs told them that she wanted the envelopes in March, because she gets busy in the spring with all the summer brides wanting theirs done at the same time. So I suppose you could contact a calligrapher (if you plan on using one) to find out how much lead time they need/want.
