All May 15th weekend Brides

Are you guys excited or overwhelmed???
I feel kind of guilty, everyone is saying 'enjoy these last few weeks' and all I want is this whole thing to be OVER with.

Are you feeling the same way?????

im way too excited! everyone keeps asking me if im nervous, but im not nervous at all. i probably will be nervous the day before though lol. i can't wait for it to be over, but in the sense so that i can see how everything will come together - not so much that im stressed from planning.

so soon for us!

I'm happy, but not really overly excited. Maybe that week, the excitement will kick in. Right now I'm a little worried about everything coming together, but I'm sure things will be just fine.

I'm so happy you said that. I cried about this last night. If one more person tells me I should be more excited and that this is 'the happiest time of my life' I'm going to murder them. Happy? About what? The fact that I'm so poor that I've resorted to eating lunch at 3 PM just so I can steal salad from the conference rooms that are finished with their lunches? Maybe about the fact that I haven't had a decent meal in over 2 months? Or the fact that I get 4437443547 phone calls a day from vendors/family/friends asking me stupid annoying questions about the wedding? Or possibly the fact that FH can't be bothered to lift a finger to help me with anything?

In short, yes, I'm overwhelmed.

And PMSing!

I am excited. excited for dancing and pictures and to go on the HM

more than anything I am sooooooo stressed with all the emails/phone calls and meeting with vendors and my parents coming and we all (6 of us) will be living in a small 1 bedroom apt.

oh and my mom already informed me that she will be arguing with me about my set time lines, activities and errands
yup she said that I should be prepared for all of their suggestion and should tell them NICELY to not argue with me. why cant it be that they just dont argue with me from the get go???/?

SERENITY NOWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Wow - you hit the nail on the head with that. My wedding is two weeks later and I feel the same exact way. I know I should be excited - but, I am more excited for all the stress (and the drama, yes, friggin family drama) to be over with. I know that day I will be happy and excited though. Plus, it didn't help last night that FH said to me 'I don't know how you could possibly even be stressed out, you know what you have to do, so just do it'. Meanwhile - FH is away at work (since 4/19) and won't be home til around 5/15 and I feel like not only do I have the entire weight of the wedding on my shoulders, but I closed on a house for us last week, and had to do that alone. Um yeah - so I am a tad bit frazzled.

Ugh!!! I'd like to smack these boys around sometimes. FH says the same kinda stuff to me. 'Well what is there left to do really?' Ummm all those pretty little personalized things at weddings aren't just standard- you have to do that kinda stuff yourself!!!

I can't imagine what a pain it would be to do it completely alone, without FH even there to b!tch to! At least it's all over soon!
