I know!!!! I guess there's no chance of my dream coming true of him & Brooke getting back together!!

ETA: I do imagine th fact that John Callahan & Eva LaRue have split in real life, one of them would want to walk away from their coupling/working together on air.

his contract us up and he did not want to renew it he was leaving the show i thinkit is also because of conflictions with eva larue they dont get along now which is sad.

I didn't even know that they got a divorce- that must have been extremely complicated acting as husband and wife when they are divorced. I am sad, but I really started hating the turn the character of Edmund had taken. I am starting to hate how major actors are leaving lately- it is making me too sad to watch

i know there was a fire in the barn at wildwind....lily was also in it for somereason but aiden carried her out

edmund wasnt so lucky....id rather have maria stay and him go cause if they dont have the chemistry anymore that they use dto, well then im not sorry to see him go

I read in Soap Opera Digest that he was making too much money, and the show decided not to renew his contract. I didn't think they would kill him off, though! Now there is no chance of him coming back. I really liked his character. Now nobody will know that he could walk... (except Zach and maybe his PT)

Yes, but this one would be tough since he died right there in the hospital. But stranger things have happened!

he doesn't have to come back as edmund he can come back as a twin brother that they never knew he had. not thats a cool storyline if he ever came back.

I knew he was going because I read a scoop somewhere but I didn't know they were going to kill him off. I wish they had just sent him off to live with his brother in Hungary. I am not sure if I wanted him back with Brooke, but I was open to the possibility at some point.

I was so sick of seeing them fighting....they never really got back what they had in the 90s before Maria 'died'. Those were the days...remember Noah and Julia?
