I did it! I was laid off from my job on 5/17 which caused us to put the wedding planning in high gear. (I will be moving and looking for work in the DC area, but wanted the wedding in NY.) I booked my wedding and all my vendors in less than one month. It CAN be done - and on a moderate budget!
Now, I'm just frantically trying to get the invitations together and out. Once that's done, I'll be able to breathe again. (If the emerging drama queens will let me!)

Thanks everyone. What really surprised me was the availability of the vendors. I thought it would be slim-pickings and everyone would be booked. But that wasn't the case.
