What did everyone pick or as a guest, which entree was your favorite? Which cocktail hour stations were the biggest hits? Thanks in advance!!!

I have an appt. on Friday at North Ritz to see the place. I'm planning a Nov/Dec 2007 wedding. From what ppl. are telling me I'm excited about going to check it out.

Any pointers for me since you booked NRC for your wedding?

I am booked at the North Ritz Club for May 07. I can't wait....I love it!!! One of my girlfriends went to a wedding there 2 weeks ago, she said everything was great. The only thing she said was the salmon was just alright. She said it had this sauce on top that basically tasted like salsa from a jar. We are going for a tasting on November 30th, so I am definitely curious to taste it since we figured salmon would be one of our selections. Other than that, she said everything was fantastic!!!

All I remember were the drinks...just kidding.

I ended up being late to CH because of the horrible weather, but I did get a chance to have some rice and calamari which was good.

I had the Chateau Briand for the entree and it was delicious.

The food at the NRC is awesome - but my favorite dish is the chilean sea bass

I wanted it with the mango sauce but i thought my guests wouldnt like it so i think we put it with a lemon dill sauce - SO SO SO SO good.

Regarding cocktail stations - i dont think one stuck out (although i was too busy talking to actually enjoy it) - but i dont think you can go wrong with any of them. EVERYONE raved about the cocktail hour. One of my friends actaually said - all he needed was one more hour in the cocktail room and he would have been set. They really do a great job wiht everything.

And to reply to your other question, I stole the cake from someone else!!!

We are replicating it for our wedding except it will be chocolate with white scrolls!!!
