All September Brides...

Where are you gals going on your honeymoon? Everyone has told me to stay away from the Carribean because of the hurricane season, I just wanted to see if anyone else was willing to take a chance with Mother Nature!

I got married in Sept and we went to Aruba for our HM.

WE didn't want to risk it. So we are going to Aruba. We leave Sept. 26th.

Hurricane season in the carribearn is usally from June to November. That is pretty much half the year. I wouldn't worry about in to much. I am planning on doing my honeymoon in the carribean in Sept. Enjoy!!!

The honeymoon should be the last thing stressing you out...big deal it rains, so you spend more time alone and in bed together...I think its a win win either way

I got married in September and the hurricane was a big worry considering that there were like three of them at the time of my wedding!!!

Luckily, we did not go to the carribean. But I ended up getting married OUTSIDE during the remnants of hurricane ivan. It was actually thundering and lightning!!

I would have never imagined this beforehand!!

We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon. We were down there a week after Hurricane Ivan. Some resorts were damaged but not ours. If you can take the stress and the possible postponement, I say go for it. It is a lot less expensive which means you can splurge on other things.
