All the Dream Work and the Team Work, Let's Go...

LET'S GO METS!!! (Why did they ever stop playing that song??)

Amazing game today, was lucky enough to be there to enjoy it. Maybe the Yankees should have been paying a little more attention to the Mets, huh?? No 13 inning game excuses today!! Hee hee. Hoping (albeit cautiously) for the sweep!

I'll give you the Mets won fair and square today....LOL....BUT they have Swept the Yank's before, and the Yanks have won their division and the Series in that year, so Lets see where we all stand in October...

dm24angel -- that other post was getting really 'busy', so i'll post my reply here -- thanks for the kudos on my opinions, i respect your opinions as well, even if i dont agree with all of them. Lighten up on DJ Pill -- he's a good guy

You are 100% correct -- October is when it counts. I'm realistic - -the Mets are not going to win the World Series. No matter what happens, I'll be happy if they continue to stay in this race till September and a playoff appearance would be nice.

As for your comment that the Met fans think the Yankees suck -- I think it's just part of the rivalry. You're either a Met fan or a Yankee fan and by nature the other team 'sucks' - -whether or not it's true.

The Yankees are a great team, that's why beating them is very important. And I do a lot of Yankee fans that think the Mets suck and I'm just happy that no matter what happens tomorrow that perhaps the Mets showed that they can hang with the big boys and be competitive which is all we want. If we lose tomorrow, we'll split and will have taken 2 out of 3, I can live with that.
