Allegro in Sayville? Meet The Parents!.......

This saturday, we are going to have a meet the parents night. I hope all goes well.
It's been 3 years and our parents have never met. Wish me luck!

Thinking about going to Mama Lombardi's or Allegro.

Has anyone ever been to Allegro in Sayville? Opinions Please! Thanks!

Never heard of Allegro, but Momma Lombardi's is awesome!! There may be a long wait on a Saturday night though, and I don't believe they take reservations.

Yeah, that's the only problem with Mama's. They don't take reservations, and I don't want to wait an hour. Oh well, everythink will work out, if we have to wait, we wait.

I've heard nothing but great things about Mama Lombardi's, however, like you said they don't take reservations. I'm sure it will work out great whatever you choose - good luck!!

Murtha's is also around that area and very nice too and I think they take reservations though it is on the small side.

Also Michael's in Sayville, I think someone on here was just talking about that restuarant and said it was good.

Allegro just opened, it changed hands about 2-3 months ago. My FH and I live a stone's throw from there, and just went for Easter buffet brunch on Sunday with my mom, sister, and brother.

The food was good, the price of the brunch was $19 per person. The service was good too. Always filling our water glasses, checking to see if everything was okay.

I know Newsday had an article about them in this past Sunday's paper as well.

Since I've only been there for brunch, I can't tell you about the rest of their meals, but I would go back to check it out.

Thanks. My mother saw the article in newsday, that's where I heard about it. They got 3stars. I will call them tonight to see if they take reservations, that will be my deciding factor. Thanks so much for all the info everyone!
