Allergies??

OMG! I NEVER had allergies before, but the last few days have been horrible!!
The other night I opened our door to get a nice breeze and within 15 minutes I had this huge lump in my throat. It felt like my throat was closing. Plus, Ive had sinus headaches every day.
This morning I woke up with my nose running, my throat hurts, sneezing like crazy. I thought I was getting a cold, but DH says this is ALLERGIES (he has them). Yikes! Why now?
Anyone else have this? What do you do? DH offered me one of his Allegra D's but I have to work tonight and I'm afraid of how it will make me feel.

If your nose is running you might not want to take a decongestant.

I would call your dr and ask what he recommends. I have had allergies for YEARS but actually this year I have been pretty good. I take a nose spray and then alternate between Allegra and Allegra D depending on what is bothering me.

I usually have post nasal drip and sinus problems.

Try to avoid going out as much as possible. Take some long hot showers - or stream for a while - this should open up your sinuses and get rid of your headaches. I find that spicy food - often drains you and gets rid of the headaches too.

I've been taking Motrin Sinus for the headaches and nose spray when I'm stuffy, but this sneezing and running is driving me nuts!
