I am in NY for a few days and my allergies are out of control. Mostly due to my mom's smoking and their dog. Anyway, I have used Tylenol cold/allergy and Advil cold/allergy but neither work for me. I was also on Claritin but that doesn't work either. Does anyone have a recommendation for me, preferably something that doesn't make me feel loopy or tired! TIA

Can you get a prescription? Nothing OTC helped me at all, but I had Singulair on hand for my asthma, and it really helped my allergies. I was SO miserable from all the sniffling, and I don't really notice side effects from the pills.

I am going to have to go to the doctor when I get back to VA, because I don't want red puffy eyes and me sneezing as I walk down the aisle!!
