I suffer from chronic allergies, it's always been horrible! I've tried so many meds...but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone found success with certain meds? Right now, I'm having an attack!

DH has tried many things and now swears by Allegra. Its been working really well for him for a while now.

or claritan twice a day - when stuffed up i take one regular and one decongestent i spece them 12 hours apart

Zyrtec is the only thing that has ever worked for me. Before it came out, I've I tried all the others. They all kept me from being miserable, but only helped about 60%.

Def. allergies, I've suffered with them since I was about 7 years old...I also have asthma (thank god it never really acts up). I've been to allergists, had the whole scratch test/bloods, etc. I'm alllergic to mostly enviornmental (grasses, molds, etc...) but the latest: cats and dogs.....
My DH is a veterinarian, and we have a house full of animals! Guess I'll have to suffer!

I am allergic to moss, dust, trees, pollan put it this way i am allergic to alot of stuff and i dont take any medicine. i might buy claritin soon.

The best combo I've ever been on is Allegra in the Mornin,g Zyrtec at night and Astelin twice a day. I breathed So clearly, but then I decided it was too much medication. Allegra qorks well. only take Allegra D if you are actually congested. it's the same medication with a decongestant added, it's usually just sudafed.
Over the counter wise I think ty;enol severe allergy is pretty damn good.
Also, i've been taking this herbal supplement called quercetin bromelian forte. My doctor recommended it and it has TOTALLY made my allergies SO much better and I don't need to take antihistamines every day, just once in awhile. I'd definitely try it
