Almond Beach Village-Barbados

Has anyone ever been to this resort?? I'm looking into it for the HM and wanted to get some info on it.

fh and i stayed there on our first vacation. we didn't love it. first we wanted to stay at the other one, i think it's almond beach club which is no kids but they bumped us to the village. the resort was just okay. it was all inclusive but we didn't venture out and we were kind of bored. he's not so beachy though so if you just want to lay around on the beach its fine.

Check out trip advisor to see what people have said about it. We plan on staying in Barbados for part of our Honeymoon and are looking into the Hilton (really cheap) or The Crane (which is more Honeymooney and gorgeous)
