And FH's guests who said yes are calling and saying now they can't come..sort of. His mom's cousin, husband and her 2 kids were supposed to come. Apparently one of the kids is sick so they can't come. OK fine...I understand that..but all 4 of them can't come when the wedding is next week? Then his dad's cousin adn wife who rsvp yes to every family event never show up. They responded yes to the engagement party and shower and didn't show up...now that's 2 more we're down for the wedding if they keep up their tradition. Adn then today FH's mom called her brother just to say hi..and finds out taht her niece is not coming. She is 4 months pregnant and is afraid to fly. OK I understand being afriad to fly ..but you knew you were pregnant for 4 months before this and when you responded yes and made your flight plans. She decides the week before the wedding that she is not going to fly now? And she didn't even call anyone to let us know..FH's mom only found out bc she called her brother to say hi...and he was like 'Oh by the way did you hear she's not coming...': People are so rude...isn't it the right thing to do to call your cousin yourself and say sorry and let him kmnow you're not coming?? Would we ever had known before the wedding if she hadn't called him?? Makes me so mad! So we basically just paid for 8 people who are not coming...grr!!! Sorry..just had to vent!

I'm so sorry to hear that! I find people to be extra rude when it comes to RSVPing. I was just venting on the phone to FH about this like 5 minutes ago.

I have a feeling this will happen to us with FH's family, too... and we're already way under our minimum!
I am sure you will still have a beautiful day -- and look on the bright side, at least now you can get rid of those seats so you don't see lots of empty 'no show' seats. Okay, that's not much consolation... sorry!

That is what's really freaking me out! We are all paying money for these people to eat and enjoy themselves and they don't have the decency to tell us in advance in order for us to save our money. Not to be cheap or anything but it begins to add up especially in the summer months when the RH's bump their prices. Oh I know this will be me in a year venting away lol

Exactly..and we were only allowed to change our total number up until 2 weeks before hand..so it's not even like we have tell them it's different nwo and save money. So we are trying to find people to come..like people bringing their kids or something..or neighbors just so we dont loose out on money!
