Almost 2 checks in one day!
So we went and looked at a hotel (Woodcliff Lake Hilton, NJ) for our room block & I'm pretty sure it's the one we're going to go with. $125/night, 3 complimentary rooms and complimentary shuttle service to and from our RH. The rooms are also in the process of being renovated so they'll be done in time for our wedding next September. It's one of the hotels our RH recommends. The other is the Park Ridge Marriott - prices are basically the same but the Hilton is a little nicer.
Also, we met with the limo company our RH recommends and the price we received from them was almost $1,000 cheaper than the $3,050 price quote that we received from another limo company. We'd be getting the same limos we wanted (Rolls Royce Phantom/Cadillac Escalade) for the same amount of time and gratuity is included. Looked online for reviews and so far so good. I'm sure our hall wouldn't recommend them if they weren't good anyway. Just have to talk things over with my parents tomorrow but I'm pretty sure we're booking with them. The only thing FH didn't like was that the owner looked a little too 'mafioso' for him to which I replied 'well that's probably because he is...'![]()
