At Tanger Thurs night @ midnight, we stopped in the Zales outlet- they had a diamond band for $299 plus additional 15% off. I liked it a lot and it was such a good price we were tempted to get it.....
but FH's family uses a guy in the diamond district who always gives good prices and we were planning on going to him in Dec to take a city trip.... I didn't want to impulse buy and then find something I liked better later... but now I think I should have gotten it. I just hope there will be good prices after Christmas.

That does sound like a great price but I'm sure you could get that or something close to it again - esp after x-mas when people really want to sell. .
would you be wiling to share the name of the guy in the diamond district? FH and I were thinking about heading to that area and just roam but it would be nice to have someone.

all I know is his name is Raymond, he's an asian guy, FH bought my E-ring from him as did his BIL for his sister. I know my ring is appraised at about $9000 and Fh paid $3000 for it.
He isn't home right now I'll ask him more when he gets home!
