almost cried over a cake topper last night

u know u've become bridezilla when...ur gonna cry over a cake topper.

I'm just so upset because the first time it didn't look like me and i was disappointed

this was the first draft...

then they sent the second draft last night and it was WORSE THAN BEFORE!!!

IT LOOKS SO UGLY AND OLD AND NOT LIKE ME AT ALL!!!
I was so upset about it i almost cried.

i have to say though i sent the vendor an email saying that i thought it looked nothing like me at all and that it looked old and asked what we could do about it because this was something i plan to keep forever and as is i would never display it anywhere. they emailed me back and said they understand the importance of having it look like the real me and they will continue to make changes. so at least they are being very cooperative. i know its an art and art cannot be forced...i just hope i can be happy with the final product

i'm sorry you are upset ... but at least they are working with you!! I'm sure they will get it right in time for your big day!! and don't feel bad about wanting to cry.. i find myself tearing up pretty easily these days.. especially when it comes to things for the wedding!!!!! It's a brides right to be upset about whatever she wants..lol!!! I'm sure it'll be ok!!!!

Sorry you didn't like them. I've seen other girls post about the same thing so don't even worry. Luckily you have a good vendor who will keep making changes till you are happy with it. Those are a really cute idea though.

Those things DONT look old, just not like you. It's so hard for them to do something like that so give them the benfit that they are least working with you to get it right.

Hey...I honestly don't think it looks that bad. Although I think the first one is better.

I'm going to tell you what I told another bride recently. You need to remember, it's never going to be a perfect replica of yourself. It will always have caricature characteristics. Take mine for example...it's a blonde girl...she looks similar because of her stats and dress but she also have DDD boobs lol and DH's head isn't bald, it's shaved but it would probably look funny if they tried to make it look 'shaved...ya know.

sorry its been a pain. But in the end it will have been worth it! And the 1st one isn't that bad IMO. But the 2nd one really didn't look like you. Im sure they will be able to get it just right!!

yeah i know...its just disappointing bc i wasn't gonna spend $140 on a cake topper but i sprung for it anyway. so when i saw that i wasn't happy with it i felt stupid for spending the money...but i still hafta say the vendor did an AMAZZZZZZZZZZING JOB with FH and i am very happy they will work on it...just hope i like the end product enough to actually use it.

Don't worry! The reaction I'm sure you're looking for is for people to look at it know it's not just a bride and groom but that it's actually you and FH and they DEFINITELY will. It looks enough like the both of you (the first one for you and the second one for your FH) that people will this it's the cutest thing

Aw, I'm sorry you're so disappointed. I don't blame you for the money you're spending.

Luckily they're being accommodating and working with you, and understand your disappointment. It looks great, but I'm surprised they didn't capture your features more because you have such pretty big brown eyes and a smile to match! The bride doesn't look old though...I think it actually came out really nice. They will get it right...can't wait to see the finished product!

Today more than ever I understand the role expectations play in wedding plannings and stuff..I totally get your frustration (I agree you are way prettier than they are coming out)..but since they are working with you and understanding I hope they get it right right the 3rd round!

the 1st one is actually nice, not sure how far it it from how u actually look because I dont see a close pic of you, but the 2nd one is bad....they made u look almost like a man....they really have to fix that,

i'm sorry you're not happy, i know what that's like with all this stressful wedding stuff. each detail is so important. i actually think the first one is very pretty, but i'm sure they will revise it and make it to your liking! good luck. cute idea too!
