almost ready to book

after endless photo appts...i think we picked our photographer! yay!

we were down to two for the longest time but one said we had to book photo and video...so then we had to go search and see if we liked other videos (which we do)...so we eliminated them and now have our final choice....just have to re-discuss the contract/package/pricing and we can officially be done with another vendor!

That's such a great thing to have checked off the list! I dread making this decision.....

the photographer seems like it was/is the hardest vendor to make a final decision on (for us at least) cuz we liked so many and there were like different things about all of them.

we considered 5 (but had a bunch of others that we didnt even meet with because even reading 1 bad review made me nervous)

we liked angelica glass but shes not going to be in ny for our date

creative compositions - i liked their website and the albums but i wasnt too thrilled with the fact that they write proof all over the proofs...and u dont get the digital images right away

imagine studios - we loved but they have a random policy where u have to book photo and video and we personally liked other video ppl better.

duet - liked their work but they are hard to understand and we were confused as to which team did what work so we just decided not to go with them.

lina jang - loved her work but wasnt sure if she could do the edgy/special effects that we wanted...but she took the time to show me samples of things she mocked up for me and we loved what she did

the only thing we're not sure of is who is doing out engagement shoot...since lina, imagine, and angelica can all do them without it being in the package....so we might just pic someone else for variety.
