Almost there - my advice to brides-to-be

I`m coming down the home stretch and want to share some advice for everyone with wedding dates still to come. It seems obvious, but try to do as much as you can in the way of little details as far in advance as you can. I just got my MOH`s gift today, and one bridesmaid`s gift while on a business trip on Monday - I still have to wrap the gifts. Got the reader`s gifts today too. I sure wish I`d done that a month or two ago so I could feel more relaxed now. There are a lot of little things you can do in advance and the more you can take care of early, the more you`ll be able to rest, relax and enjoy the final days without feeling stressed! It was pretty bad for me a few weeks ago - it`s all falling into place now, but I can`t say it enough - get things done in advance wherever you can because the time gets tight in the end!

Heather - reader's gifts

Hi Heather; My Aunt, and Fi's Godmother, are reading the Old and the New Testaments. I got my Aunt a stained glass frame that has wildflowers pressed in the border and Fi's Godmother a more formal, gold-leaf frame that fits her decor. Both will have an insert where the picture would go, thanking them for blessing our day with their participation and the promise of a photo from the wedding day to fill the frame. For our good friend who is reading the Responsorial Psalm, and who also likes to cook, we got an assortment of goodies to fill a basket with tea-time treats. It has Scone Mix, Jam, Shortbread Cookies, Tea and another kind of cookie.
