ALOHA! We're back!
Hello one and all!
Clive and I got back today from the HM. OMG - Hawaii is WONDERFUL. So laid back and relaxing. We did 6 nights in Maui - which perfect for doing a few days of sightseeing, and a few for bumming around the local towns and a few for relaxing on the beach. We saw the sunrise from Haleakala and Ulalena (a show) and a really good luau. Kauai is more laid back - we did a tour of the northwestern coast via catamaran and the coast was breathtaking. Also drove up the northeastern side to Princeville and to Hanalei Bay, where a John Wayne film was made (forget the name) and parts of the film South Pacific was filmed. I loved Kauai for it's scenery and the hotel was lovely but we both preferred Maui overall (the Hyatt was wonderful)
The wedding was great too!!! I want to wait a few days before giving my review because there were some glitches and I don't have my wedding contracts here with me to look over before giving my review. But right now I can say VERDI'S OF WESTBURY IS GREAT. IN the Mixx was wonderful and had the room hopping all night. Angel Eyes makeup - I looked wonderful all night!!! And the flowers. I can't rave enough about how great they looked. Wicks in Baldwin did them. The centerpieces were one of the biggest hits. I was so pleased!! The photographer and videographer were wonderful!!
OK I'm tired and jetlagged so once I get settled I'll do my review.
