I went to get a haircut today at the same salon I am getting my hair/makeup done for the wedding. My stylist asked me if I booked anyone for myself & the wedding party yet. I told her I didn't because Im not getting married until Aug 26 2006 <---- It just seems so far away!!! She told me to book my wedding & hair trials NOW because they are already booked well into November 2006!!
Could you believe that?
Needless to say, I made an appointment for my hair/makeup trial (April 06) and the whole salon is closed for Me & my bridal party for 2 hours the day of my wedding!!!
Ladies.. dont delay.. book your hair & makeup today!!! <---that sounds like a commercial!!

Wow...November!? I have heard that they book fast but not that fast I better get a move on.
That was nice that you get the whole salon for yourself and Bridal party for 2 hrs.

I am getting married november of 2006, the day i booked my hall- I call my stylist. I definately wanted to make sure that she would be available! I think if you know who you want, there is no point in waiting.

Wow, that is fast...I spoke with my hairdresser the other day & she told me not to sweat it! I am not doing my trial until I have my tiara which won't be until after September...

It's crazy how fast people book up. I booked my hairdresser about 3 months after we got engaged. I have 8 girls that need they hair done and I didnt want to miss out on her!

how are you supposed to book makeup and hair if you havent' picked out a dress yet? i havent' even starting looking for a dress yet, i'm not sure how i want my hair to look, i want it to go along with the way the dress would look. ahhhhhhh

I booked my hairdresser in Feburary for my September wedding.
I don't know what I doing with my hair, and it doesn't matter. If you know the person you can go ahead and book.
My experience with vendors -- you can always find someone, even a week before. However you choices become more limited as time passes.
I knew hair and makeup would be important to me, so I booked early.
