Already got married

We already got married 12/2/13. We didn't have a reception We got
married at town hall. So we are having a reception, I guess you can say a party. I want it to be like a wedding. I was wondering if there were any others doing the same. I would like to wear a real wedding dress, but not sure if I should. If there is others out there doing the same, and what are your plans like?

I say do whatever you want! It's still your day, even if you are already married. You deserve to have exactly the reception you've dreamed about. So wear what you want, have it where you want, and book vendors that you want because you'll only do it once and enjoy! :)

This a million times!!!!

I think it's fine so long as you are open to your guests that it is a reception. My family was recently invited to a wedding where the bride and groom secretly got married ahead of time and my sisters were kind of offended that it was kept a secret.

You can still wear a special dress and have a wonderful celebration!!
