I'm new to LIW but already married, but I would love to join in chats and help with some advice and support. I only wish I knew about LIW when I was planning my wedding.

I say, join the newlywed board!!! It's kind of slow over there, so most of us come over here, but then it gets even slower over there because we're over here...

Have you checked out all of the other boards on this site? The Newlywed board is great, but I see you've been married a while (of course, you're still welcome to join us...the word 'newlywed' is pretty loose in its definition around here). There's also a parenting board and home board...take a look around and pop in wherever you feel comfy!

I will, but all the fun is in the planning! I was really bummed when it was all over. Kind of a let down after all the craziness. Did you find that after the wedding?

I had a lot of stress in planning my wedding because I had a lot of other stressors in my life and had to move my wedding up and re-plan everything in a really short time period, all the while, the stressors increasing.
So I guess I'm not the best person to ask. I was so glad the planning was over, although I would love to do the day itself over again.

Oh, yeah, I know all about the stress..it took him 7 1/2 years to propose! There are so many factors, life in general sometimes gets in the way of all the good stuff.

Yeah..I finally found someone else who joined this board like me. I've been married almost 5 years, but I love coming on here and reading posts, try to help with advice, etc. I'm in 2 weddings next year so I like to read reviews and all that fun stuff!! I Love Weddings and found this site 'by accident'

It is an addiction, I've been lurking for a week and finally decided to join in. There are so many similar things that we all go through. I'm married now 6 years but it doesn't feel that way. I love to hear about everyone else's special day!

I was one of the few that did not miss it, but now that the dust has settled & a friend of mine might be planning soon, I am feeling the itch again
