So I scheduled my e-pics today, which I am super excited about, however now I have to figure out my hair and make up! Do you girls have any recommendations of salons on LI that do both (a place that you know does really good work)??? I am booked with Oksana for my wedding day but I don't know how convenient it will be for me to travel to queens on the day of my e-pics. Pleeeeasseeee share with me ladies if you know a place

I just totally don't trust myself with my hair and makeup .. wish I did I live in Dix Hills, but I don't mind if I have to travel a little bit as long as its a good place. I'm gonna ultimately be heading into the city so anywhere in Nassau would be okay.

I've gotten hair and makeup done in the past by Madison salon in the Woodbury Commons in Woodbury and have been nothing but pleased. They're a little pricey but they're def worth it!

About Face Artistry is pretty good, the only thing is that I beleive they only do MU, they have a FB page

I did my own hair and makeup for epics.
I have a great makeup person out in Suffolk.. hair idk about though, I'm just using my regular girl from my salon for my wedding.

I was recc. Fox and Company Salon and Spa by Laura on 2010 boards. Never actually went but she's been going there for years and they did both her hair and makeup the day of. Looks like a nice place.

i got my hair/mu done for my friend's wedding at metromodes in bellmore and I really liked it there...wasn't completely in love with my makeup but i think that's bc i wasnt' very good at expressing what i want
