No more being down -- What did you do on St. Paddy's Day? I went to a couple of pubs in midtown, watched a bunch of people dressed in green dance around in their drunkeness... And then I got drunk myself and made DH pick up my drunk a$$ from the train station so that he could take me and my friend to the diner. Good times.

I got a job offer...and accepted a job in Atlanta! I sat in a car for almost 3 hours while my DH interviewed...I put in an offer on the house of our dreams and I went out to dinner with my sister, her DH, my brother, his DW and my DH and drank 2 rounds of Patron, a Passion 'Rita and an amaretto sour. Overall one of the best days of my adult life!

And where I was at, no one was celebrating St. Patty's!! My new boss is from CT and she was saying how the East Coasters really need to start the 'back home' traditions in ATL because it's so different.

we played hookie from work, slept in and spent the day together. Very low key, very non-celebratory.
I was a snoozer. But I am going out this weekend to make up for it.

I didn't have any obligations at work on Fri, so we went to a pub early in the afternoon in DC, and drank a bunch. We got lots of cool Guiness stuff and had a yummy appetizer platter. We went home, and then watched horror movies on tv. It was a fun day.

my best friend was in town. we went out with some other of our friends. we have all been friends since 5th grade (20 +years). our names are funny too- lisa, lisa, elisa and alyssa; to save confusion we have nicknames....
anyway a month or so ago our friend elisa came out of the closet to all of us except my best friend. st pattys day was the day she told her.
it was an interesting nite to say the least. we all had a good time, and i wound up getting tipsy...
