I am seriously going to start to look at RH's beginning this week!!!
I am not having a huge wedding, so I know most of the places I go to I won't make the minimum. But I need to hit the pavement. I have let the holidays make me so lazy!!
Places I am hoping to look at:
Coral House Stewart Manor CC Cafe on the Green Verdi's of Whitestone Swan Club
I know there are a lot of other small venues out there, but I want to stay in Nassau. I have people coming from Manhattan and Jersey, so need to make the trip reasonable. Can anyone suggest any other places that will hold approx. 75-90 ppl?
TIA!!!

I don't know of any other places but I have to say Verdi's of whitestone does an excellent job and give a great price. From what I heard, cafe on the green is closing down after January 1st so you might want to double check that and see if there will be a new owner in after that.
Good luck!

Re: Alright....enough procrastinating!!!
We have a minimum of 100 people, so here are the places that were willing to give us that. Some places may lower it depending on the day/time of your wedding. We are a Sat afternoon, so places are more likely to lower it for a daytime wedding. But if you are getting married off season that may help also! HTH!!
Thatched Cottage Harbor Club Sunset Harbor Swan Club Venetian Yacht Club (downstairs rooms) Chateau La Mer (upstairs room) Captain Bills (not the Bayview House, the room inside the restaurant) Bridgeview Yacht Club Sans Souci Fox Hollow
The Riviera gave us a minimum of 110 I believe.

Also, Im not sure about minimums there, but Milleridge also has the Carriage House which is smaller than the Cottage - so that may have a low minimum.

The Carriage House does an amazing job! We had our e-party there and everything was amazing! FM me for questions
Also the Harbor Club in Huntington does a great job (my family has had a lot of parties there and they are always outstanding)
Also check out the Lessing's Properties (they have a number) they also have great good and service, and the locations are gorgeous!!!

Cafe on the Green is not closing down completly, they are just closing for renovations. FH and I looked at them in the spring of this year, and ended staying for dinner, the food is amazing (we are both foodies). By now they should have an idea of when they are going to opening again, the food we had was great they are worth checking out.
Let know if they are booking.

we booked the swan club for 75 people. We have the contessa room. There is also a smaller room that i think you have to guarantee 40.

When i called Cafe on the Green in Oct they said they are closing for renovations and wont be showing until March. Maybe they will be ahead of schedule. Give them a call

FH and I are also foodies!! I think that is our #1 criteria. GOOD FOOD!!! If Cafe on the Green gets back to me I will definitely let you know what is their status.

Try The Hamlet Willow Creek in Mount Sinai. It's only a few years old, adsolutely beautiful, and really afforable.
The Miller Beach surf club is really nice. It has a max of 110 people and I think it was the most reasonable price wise.
Good Luck!

Jericho Terrace has a room that accomodates smaller weddings.
