Was thinking of taking my mom there this afternoon....read lots of positive things on here about it.... is it pricey?

my mom got her dress there. they have really nice and different stuff. they have pricey and not so pricey dresses. we found my mom's dress on the sale rack.

My mom actully went to alta moda and had her dress custom made there and although it was pricey it was the dress of her dreams. I think the girl's name who helped us was kimberly. She was wondeful! We went there just because of what we heard on LIW and within 30 minutes they had a my moms vision drawn on paper and were picking out color and fabrics. Even though the dress was more then my mom originally planned on spending she now says she never would have done it any other way.

My mom got her dress there and also had it custom made. She worked with Kimberly- who is actually a former student of hers-- my mom is a teacher on LI..
She really liked her experience and loved her dress.. Here is a pic of her and I on the big day..
