i keep finding more and more details out, is it me or is it a little annoying not to mention EXPENSIVE.

I will have altar arrangements at my church ceremony. I included them while I was negotiating prices with my florist.

I am having 2 altar arrangments and pew bows with hypericum(?) berries. After the ceremony, my florist is moving them to my reception site. The pew bows will be used on a staircase. One of the altar pieces will be in the entry way of the reception, and I think the other one will be on the floor in front of our sweetheart tabel (i think!!)

Just make sure your wedding day doesn't fall during Lent. Some churches will not let you decorate with flowers during Lent. Best to call them.

Here are pictures of my altar pieces. Sorry they are not the greatest - but I think you get the idea. ( I will look for pictures of my pew flowers)

Not the best shots, but our Church already had two small arrangements at the altar. They have those all the time. Then we brought two arrangements for the sides of the altar in large urns on pedestals. These were then brought to the reception hall to be used behind our sweetheart table. We also had pew bows with hydrangea and outside the Church we had some bows.

DOn't have pics but we are just having one piece that later will be moved to the reception hall for the gift table...

Thats what we did - we put them in the front lobby of the hall. It looked great!

Did you guys get married in a Catholic Church? My pastor told me we could not take the flowers out of the church It would have been very helpful if we were allowed!
