This is a repost from BHB

I am considering ordering my bridal gown online. If I do I will require someone to do the alterations.

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who does bridal gown alterations, bustles etc?? (preferably in either Nassau or Queens)

Phyllis Limmer of gownfind.com will do alterations. I think she charges $250 for dresses not purchased through her. Charmet Bridal in Bayside on Bell Blvd. will also alter dresses that are not bought from them.

i second phyllis limmer. i also recommend buying your gown through her--she'll even match other online vendor prices.

I know KP1528 HIGHLY recommends someone in Manhassett....You could FM her for more info.
