how far in advance do you need to do bridesmaid alterations? Is a month too short of a time? And can someone refresh me on brides alterations, when in the first, 2nd, ect.

i had mine done 2 months prior and we just went for the 2nd fitting this past saturday. they all fit perfectly so we picked them up and took them home too!
2 months prior is what we were told by the bridal salon.

I bought my dress somewhere else and am having the alterations done by Phyllis at gownfind. My cousins wedding is on june 2nd and my alterations are not until may 24th, I thought it was a little close, but the person I spoke with on the phone said that is plenty of time...

They usually do it 4-6 weeks before. My girls started about 5 weeks before my wedding.
