I went to one of my BMs fittings today. They have a cap on alterations of $55 so anyway she needed nothing done to her dress except the 3 point bustle which was $10 a point oh and she has boobies put in to.....so how did her bill come to $108
Is it normal that they charge you the cap regardless along with these 2 other things she needed??
I understand that the boobies and the bustle are extra but that is ALL she had done....NO hem, no taken in anywhere...so thats why I am questioning it.

No I think a cap means that its the highest price they can charge no matter what work needs to be done....

bustle and boobs are not included in the cap as well as custom changed are not included. Cap includes hem, take in or out that sort of thing.

Yes, the cap only includes certain things. My dress had a cap of around $200 and I ended up spending close to $500. I had a jacket made, the bustle, and the cups.
