I am llooking for someone that does Alterations only. I bought my dress in the city and they don't keep them there after the dress comes in because they don't have enough space. Does anyone know a bridal shop or anyone who just does alterations?

You can bring it to any dress shop or even a cleaner and they can alter it.

I don't know of any bridal salons that would just do that...do you know of any excellent seamstresss at a drycleaners possibly....thats done work on a wedding dress b4?

Check out Karin Yngvesdotter. She is excellent. She is located in Astoria.
Send her an email and include a picture of your gown.
I'm using Karin too! She is such a sweetheart and is sooo talented!! She actually has her own line of couture wedding dresses and is a seamstress on the side, so she really knows her stuff!

I use the seamstress (not for my gown though) in Jamies Cleaners in Lynbrook, I don't know where you are but she is good.
I did use her for my prom dress, which was a size 10 and I was a size 4, it had a lace overlay with beading on it and it came out great!
