alterations

Hi All,
My sister is looking for a good tailor/alterations place in the queens/nassau area- to alter her bridesmaid dress that she will wear at my wedding... she lives in philly but plans to get alterations done here in ny. any suggestions of reputable people whoare helpful and capable?

We are using a woman named Amy and her shop (I believe it is called Amys) is right in Syosset directly across from the LIRR. She came highly recommended to us and we were impressed with her when we went for my fitting. She also presses the dress in house.
