Alterations

I got my dress from Davids Bridal. I am not sure if I want to get it altered there bc I heard some horror stories. I have heard so much about Phyllis from Gownfind or soemthing like that.
Do you think that I will be able to take my dress to her to have it altered and cleaned (or whatever it is they do to it?)

I bought my dress from David's and took it to Phyllis. I called her and told her what my situation was (I told her upfront I didn't hear good things about David's and was referred to her by LIW girls) and she asked me to come in with the dress for a free alteration. From there, everything was a breeze and she did an exceptional job on my dress/bustle.
