I went to Macy's Bridal on Sunday and found a dress I really liked, when I asked how much alterations would be she said around $450. When I got married the first time 9 yrs ago I paid $150 and it was capped. Can you ladies let me know how much you are paying for alterations for your dress as well as your bridal party...and where you are getting the dresses altered.

If it includes the bustle, that's about average for alts. I have not heard good things about there alts though. You may be better off getting it done elsewhere.

The dress was too much anyway, I have a list of Maggies I want to try on, so Im going to go to Lillettes next week. She did say the bustle would be $150, then something else was $150. My last dress had a detachable train which was nice
